The food was decent, with a wide range of options. The staff was very obliging and the room was wonderful, outstanding. The location was remote, close to a nice long beach, the private beach area and the Oman sea.

Location: the hotel was not far from the turtle watching the beach, late afternoon because of the sun and a cliff. There was an outdoor restaurant nearby. We really enjoyed the standard queen room which was well-equipped...

Terras has very nice view and is comfortable to stay.
Quality of the bed was very poor, unfortunately no view from the hut, even no windows. No option to stay in or near your hut during the day.

It was a very rustic, scenic beach resort
Huts were made of straw. That would be OK except the electrical wiring was crude. Could be a fire hazard. the shower was really flimsy

This resort was more than I expected, especially after reading the reviews. We had a very nice and comfortable stay. The room (double room with ac and private badthroom) was very nice decorated (very rare in Oman) and had a nice atmosphere, the room was clean and the bed was fine. Location was good, with a nice private beach. Staff was friendly en helpful en the food was good. I would stay here again!
The resort is a bit remote, but that's also the charm of it. It's about an hour drive from Sur (trough nothing) and half an hour from Ras Al Jinz, where you can watch turtles.

We went as a group and were very happy with the resort. it was a little pricey for what was there. The new huts were very nice but felt that it is not well pictured on the website. The staff were very friendly but not up to standard when it came to serving breakfast and lunch, it was a very limited menu. All of us were there for the turtle watching and would go back to this resort to stay.
We went in the middle of summer and ramadan and were abit disappointed in the rate seeing that there was no licensed bar. The pool table was not level. Alot of building work was going on in the site which was not mentioned on the website.

Location and Staff
The traditional buildings are a god idea but they now require a make over to restore them to orginal status
